I get notices when Hunter Douglas does anything that makes it into the media. A few days ago, another lawsuit by Hunter Douglas against Blinds.com, Justblinds.com and a few others. It seems like they have to spend a lot of money protecting their products. I have to wonder if this has anything to do with Hunter Douglas decision to stop anyone from selling their product on the internet?
In the past 2 months we have had several clients tell us they had to go to a “Qualified” Hunter Douglas store to look for blinds. They soon discovered the prices were outrageous and purchased from us a similar product for half the cost. We also have had several clients tell us the same thing about Costco. They said Costco prices were crazy high.
We try to do everything we can to keep our prices down. We carry a large selection, know our products, belong to the Blind Brokers Network buying group and we use the web extensively to generate leads. This is how we keep our prices down.
